Warhammer 40K 2nd Ed Community
Sustained Fire
We are a Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition gaming club based in Brisbane, Australia. In 2023, a small group of local gamers pooled their resources to create an event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the launch of Warhammer 40K 2nd Edition. The day was a resounding success, and attendees quickly began asking for more. Now the event continues annually, growing each year.
We now hold monthly gaming days at a local library, providing great opportunities for more games, playtesting new rules, and catching up with our community members. We’ve also expanded into other mediums with a YouTube channel and the Sustained Fire Battles Book, which showcase our painted miniatures and battle reports.
We regularly hear from players who can’t attend our Brisbane events but still want to get involved, so we created The Siege of Brakkar Chain, a global narrative campaign where players from around the world can get involved, play games and submit results to shape the story.
